My own journey through disordered eating, severe anxiety, and crippling self-doubt has led me to realize that all these fitness and nutrition experts with their very specific programs that guarantee results really do have the best of intentions. But they're missing the biggest piece of the puzzle. Yes, what you eat and how you use your body matters, but you're never going to get anywhere if you're trying to build new habits on a shaky or non-existent foundation.
